The municipality of Pavlikeni is situated in the North Central Region of the country. It occupies the west central part of the Veliko Tarnovo district and borders the municipalities of Veliko Tarnovo, Svishtov, Polski Trambesh, Sevlievo, Souhindol and Levski.
